Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson’s Father, was refused entry to Oktoberfest by Sepp Kratz
Joe Jackson will not attend Oktoberfest 2009
Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson’s father (whom he discusses during his taped interviews with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach) has been banned from Oktoberfest, the German beer festival, because he should not be partying and drinking beer so soon after his “child has passed away.” Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson requested access to a VIP marquee at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany but was denied entry by events organizer Sepp Kratz because he thinks Joe Jackson should be mourning the death of his son Michael Jackson, who passed away June 25, 2009.
Joe Jackson refused entry to Oktoberfest by Sepp Kratz
Sepp Kratz, who has run the Hippodrum tent for 15 years, told German magazine Stern: “Michael Jackson’s father was desperate to have a seat reserved. I rejected his request immediately. I was really shocked. The man has just buried his son. It’s totally inappropriate to celebrate happily just after your child passed away. That’s just not right. In short, anyone who has no sense of decency isn’t welcome at our place.”
Oktoberfest kicked off on September 19 and ends on October 4.
Joe Jackson, who Michael Jackson says beat him through childhood, was criticized in the immediate aftermath of Michael Jackson’s death for publicizing new business ventures while speaking about he loss of his son.

#I agree with Joe!!! WTF is Michael Jackson’s dad thinking going to a beer festival?!?
Have a little respect for your son and yourself and grieve!
Mad props to Mr. Kratz for this bold step!
