Recently, millions of Michael Jackson fans engaged in an all out bidding war to get their hands on, or into, Michael Jackson’s notorious white sequin glove.
Unfortunately for Michael Jackson fans, a corporate buyer for the Hard Rock Hotel took home the prize, who purchased Michael Jackson’s white sequin glove for almost double its orginal price, a cool $48,000.

Michael Jackson went to Australia in 1996 during his HIStory tour to screen the film Ghosts. After the film, Michael Jackson threw his glove into the audience, which was caught by Michael Jackson fan Bill Hibble.
Michael Jackson fan Bill Hibble has since passed on, but the white sequin glove survived, fetching 57,600 Australian dollars this pass Sunday in an online auction, equivalent to $48,400 USD.
