Media Wants Nevada Judge to Release Warrant Docuemnts Served on Dr. Conrad Murray in the Michael Jackson Investigation
A Nevada judge is set to hear arguments from The Associated Press and other media seeking the release of warrant documents served on Dr. Conrad Murray in the Michael Jackson investigation.
Hearing to Release Warrant Documents Served on Dr. Conrad Murray in the Michael Jackson Investigation
Valerie Adair, the Clark County District Court Judge, scheduled the hearing for Tuesday, where lawyers representing the Associated Press, Los Angeles Times and the corporate owner of the Las Vegas Review-Journal will request that Judge Valerie Adair unseal affidavits issued for searches in July and August of Dr. Conrad Murray’s offices in Las Vegas.
It is expected that Clark County prosectuors will oppose the effort.
In documents filed October 7, lawyers for the media point to decisions by courts in California and Texas to make public the affidavits that Los Angeles police submitted for searches at Dr. Conrad Murray’s offices and properties in Los Angeles and Houston.
Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, is currently under investigation for administering a fatal injection of Propofol to the King of Pop, as well as being accused of owing thousands of dollars in child support.
