La Toya Jackson, older sister of the late Michael Jackson, will not see his upcoming film “This Is It”
During an interview on Access Hollywood, La Toya Jackson watched clips from Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” for the first time, commenting to Billy that she will not see the film and that the rehearsals were not “full” rehearsals because she did not see Michael Jackson’s energy behind the moves…
Billy’s Interview with La Toya Jackson about Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”
Billy of Access Hollywood: “And La Toya Jackson is here with me…” Billy motions to La Toya Jackson and says, “Welcome.”
La Toya Jackson: “Hello Billy, how are you?”
Billy of Access Hollywood: “I’m terric! The spectacular new scenes from “This Is It,” which La Toya, you have not seen before, right?”
La Toya Jackson: “That’s correct, I have not seen it.”
Billy of Access Hollywood: “Let’s roll.
“For the first time, it’s apparent what a multi media masterpiece “This Is It” would have been with computer generated soldiers. And this powerful show opener, a robotic light man opens piece by piece revealing Michael, and on his command it begins.
As La Toya moves to the music, Michael’s full dress reheasal, glimpses of his best, including Thriller, are seen.
And an unbelievable site, 50 year old Michael teaching his 20 something year old dancers how Bad is done.
When you saw Michael teaching these kids to dance, these dancers, I saw the emotion kick in.”
La Toya Jackson: “Yes, he’s, um, he’s just an incredible, he was an incredible person, I mean, to see this, to see the love and the adore that he gets out of when he performs…And how we’re gonna miss him, immensely, it’s just so moving, so touching.”
Billy of Access Hollywood: “You said that you did not plan to see “This Is It.” After watching these clips have you changed your mind?”
La Toya Jackson: “No, I have no plans of seeing it. It’s a bit too soon for me. It really is.”
Billy of Access Hollywood: “But are you glad that you saw him mentoring?”
La Toya Jackson: “I am pleased to see him mentoring. However Billy I do know that Michael wantsveveryone to be at their best and this is not a full out rehearsal for him there’s so much more to it than that, the energy that he puts behind every move, I don’t see that here, but it’s good just to have it as memories as well.
