Katherine and Joe Jackson, parents of the late Michael Jackson, criticize the upcoming “This Is It” Movie
As reported by TMZ, numerous sources reveal that the Jackson family has been asked to attend the premiere of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It.” However, Katherine Jackson tells a different story, insisting that the Jackson family was never invited.
Jackson Family and “This Is It” Movie
Apparently, Michael Jackson’s family has been offered 60 tickets to the “This Is It” premiere. However, Katherine Jackson insists that the Jackson family was not contacted about getting seats to the sold out “This Is It.” TMZ thinks that a select few of the Jackson family were offered tickets, and that the message was never related to Katherine Jackson.
Regardless of whether or not Michael Jackson’s mother was invited to the “This Is It” premiere, Katherine Jackson does not want to go, telling TMZ that as far as she’s concerned it’s not a real movie because there is no acting — just rehearsal footage. What’s more, Michael Jackson’s three kids have been begging their grandmother to see Michael Jackson’s “This Is It,” so we’ll just have to see if she gives in to their wishes.
Joe Jackson insists “This is It” is mostly body doubles and “the media is going to tear this movie apart.”
Sony Offered the Jackson Family a Private Screening of “This Is It”
Allegedly, Sony not only offered the Jackson family seats to the “This Is It” premiere, but also offered a private screening.
