Debbie Rowe is suing Rebecca White after Rebecca White claimed on Extra, the television show, that Debbie Rowe was more interested in money than in being awarded custody of the two children she had with Michael Jackson, Prince Michael I, 12, and Paris, 11.
Debbie Rowe sued over the comments in July, but Rebecca White failed to respond.
Debbie Rowe’s lawyers are now after a default judgment. A court hearing to determine the outcome is scheduled for November.

In legal papers filed in Los Angeles, Debbie Rowe’s lawyers claim that the mother of Michael Jackson’s two oldest kids should be awarded $490,000 in general and punitive damages.
The defamation and invasion-of-privacy action is seeking to recoup any money that Rebecca White may have been paid for her Extra interview, which lawyers have estimated to be $100,000.
Debbie Rowe’s lawyers are also seeking $100,000 for emotional distress, $45,000 for medical and legal fees and $245,000 in punitive damages.
Rebecca White’s Interview with Extra
In the television interview on Extra, Rebecca White claimed that she had exchanged e-mails with Debbie Rowe after Michael Jackson’s death on June 25th.
Claiming to be a close friend of Debbie Rowe, Rebecca White said that Debbie Rowe stated that she did not want custody of the children that she had with Michael Jackson, Prince Michael I and Paris.
Debbie Rowe denies that she sent emails to Rebecca White and that she and Rebecca White are friends.
